Our Story
From a collective to an Organization…..
Prismatic began in 2021 as a collective of queer folks and ally’s in Varanasi and it’s surrounding districts with the intent of collectivization and finding a sense of belonging in community. Slowly, we grew to a large team of volunteers working towards a collective goal. Eventually, we realized that to ensure our impact can be deeper and wider, we need to form an organization. In 2024, we finally registered as a trust, and began to fundraise to further embolden our endeavors towards improving the quality of life experienced by Queer persons in varanasi.
